Sculpture

It starts with a specific material, object or a structure; they are transformed into something else. Needs of chosen materials are made up by what they require in order to change or behave in a par- ticular way; temperature, tension, a certain cut or touch. Once this is understood, hands begin to repeat sequences, choosing intuitive truth over factual accuracy or functional logic. Repetition can be seen as a source of comfort, of care, or as an attitude, or perhapseven as the lack of ideas. Perhaps repetition is sometimes the easiest way to get into action. But it doesn‘t have to end there. Repetition might also have the ability to elicit something new when viewed from an external perspective.
