Mythology refers to the totality of myths, legends, and stories of a people, a culture, or a religion. But who is “the people,” what is a culture, and which religion do we follow today? At a time when a return to traditions once again seems all too tempting, art unfolds its potential to connect with a collective memory while simultaneously making archetypes resistant, contemporary, and productive.
