Soft Boundaries, Shifting Bodies

On Transitions, Translations, and the Spaces In Between

25.6.2025

Angewandte Festival
25.6.-28.6. 2025, 11-21h
Opening 25.6. 11h & 19 h

The exhibition navigates the shifting thresholds between bodies, objects, and spaces, exploring presence, memory, and identities across the private and the public, the tangible and the ephemeral. Objects become extensions of intimacy; bodies glitch into new figurations of the self. Boundaries soften, spaces hold meaning, and the self is continuously interpreted, translated, and transformed. Within a world of social change, political transformation, technological and economic transition the individual navigates the global narration, lonely, with a longing for community, strength and love.

Featuring student works from the courses 'Space and Object' (Eva Chytilek), 'The Workshop as a Laboratory for Materials and Ideas' (Doris Krüger), and 'Digital Design and Virtuality' (Martina Menegon):
